Northlands is proud to host the 25th edition of the Pedigreed Seed Show. The show was started in 1984 by Roger Lee and Bill Witbeck as a way to promote continued production and use of pedigreed seed in Canada. Northlands Pedigreed Seed Show is one of two exclusive pedigreed seed shows in Canada.
At the show, producers from across Canada can view an extensive variety of seed and their response to different environmental conditions. It also provides a showcase for urbanites to learn about the diversity of seeds and related industries found in Canada.
Northlands Pedigreed Seed Show is a Northlands agriculture program administered by a committee of volunteer pedigreed seed growers, seed producers, seed companies, chemical companies and regulatory personnel in the seed industry.
